Thoughts on the little old lady

Looking at some information about coins online, I came upon this site:

http://coins.about.com/od/coinbuyingadvice/tp/coin_dealer_ethics.htm

There was this story about an old lady selling her coins to a dealer.

“Elderly Lady With a Jar of Coins
I watched a coin dealer about to rip off a little old lady at a local coin show and it made me heartsick. I intervened on her behalf, only to learn that I had violated the etiquette and unwritten “rules” of coin shows – that you don’t interfere with someone else’s transaction, no matter what. I got thrown out of the show as a result!”

I read the full story and nearly all the 95+ comments. One comment stood out above the rest, the one that mentioned ‘Never question doing the right thing.’

“You don’t interfere with someone else’s transaction, no matter what.” This is neither a rule or etiquette. When you witness such an injustice being done, take action! And never question doing the right thing.
